MBAPPE'S FIRST HAT-TRICK IN LA LIGA

 Real Madrid's Star Shines Again.

Kylian Mbappé has finally found his groove at Real Madrid, and his recent performance against Real Valladolid is proof that the French superstar is back to his best. Scoring his first hat-trick in La Liga since joining Los Blancos in the summer of 2024, Mbappé reminded everyone why he’s considered one of the best players in the world. Mbappé's move to Real Madrid was one of the most anticipated. After years of speculation and transfer stories, Mbappé joined Real Madrid from PSG in June 2024, in what was one of the most anticipated transfers of all time. Surprisingly, Mbappé did not move to Real Madrid for a higher salary-in fact, his wages at was PSG were significantly higher than what he earns at Madrid. He signed a five-year deal with the Spanish giants, aiming to establish himself as a true Galáctico and help Madrid reclaim their dominance in both La Liga and the Champions League.

But the start wasn’t as smooth as many hoped. Mbappé faced challenges adapting to a new league, including missing crucial penalties against Athletic Bilbao and Liverpool. These moments were tough on him, with the player admitting that he had “hit rock bottom.” However, as great players often do, Mbappé turned his struggles into motivation.

He made a stunning comeback.

Since those early setbacks, Mbappé has been unstoppable. He’s been on a hot streak, scoring 12 goals in his last 12 games across all competitions. His hat-trick against Valladolid was the highlight of his season so far, showcasing his incredible pace, sharp finishing, and clinical decision-making in front of goal.

In the match, Mbappé opened the scoring with a stunning solo effort, dribbling past two defenders before slotting the ball into the bottom corner. His second goal came from a perfectly timed header, and he completed his hat-trick with a precise finish after a quick counterattack on Saturday 25th January 2025. His performance earned him a standing ovation from fans and praise from manager Carlo Ancelotti, who called him “a game-changer.”

Real Madrid’s Position in La Liga

Thanks to Mbappé’s efforts, Real Madrid now sit comfortably at the top of the La Liga table with a four-point lead over second-place Barcelona. The team has been in excellent form this season, with Mbappé forming a deadly partnership with Vinícius Jr., Rodrygo, and Jude Bellingham. Together, they’ve made Madrid’s attack one of the most feared in Europe.

Closing the Gap in the Scoring Race

With 15 league goals and 22 in all competitions, Mbappé has quickly climbed the La Liga scoring charts. He’s now just a few goals behind Robert Lewandowski, the current Pichichi (top scorer) leader. If he maintains this form, Mbappé could not only surpass Lewandowski but also make a strong case for the Ballon d’Or.

Winning the prestigious Ballon d’Or has been a long-term goal for Mbappé, and his recent performances have boosted his chances significantly. Many now see him as a frontrunner for the award, especially if he helps Madrid secure silverware this season.

As the season progresses, Mbappé’s confidence and form continue to grow. His impact on Real Madrid is undeniable, and he’s quickly becoming the leader the team needs. If he keeps delivering moments like the Valladolid hat-trick, there’s no doubt that both individual and team glory are within reach.

For fans of Real Madrid and football lovers worldwide, Mbappé’s journey is a joy to watch. His move to Spain hasn’t just reignited his career—it’s solidified his place among the game’s elite.
